Peter Meany
Head of Global Listed Infrastructure

Peter established the Global Listed Infrastructure strategy in 2007. Since then he has built a high quality team of investment specialists and a strong investment track record. Peter has more than 20 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the company in January 2007, Peter was a Director and Head of Infrastructure and Utilities Research at Credit Suisse Equities (Australia). Peter was also an analyst at Macquarie Equities during the initial development of the private infrastructure market. Peter holds a Bachelor Economics (Finance) from Macquarie University.

Andrew Greenup
Deputy Head of Global Listed Infrastructure

Andrew’s main responsibilities include managing listed infrastructure portfolios and research coverage of the Utilities sector. Andrew is the co-founder of the Global Listed Infrastructure strategy. Andrew has more than 20 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the company in July 2005, Andrew worked at Allianz Global Investors as a senior analyst in Australian equities. Andrew also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as an equities analyst for eight years. Andrew holds a Bachelor Business (First Class Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from Macquarie University.

Edmund Leung
Senior Portfolio Manager

Edmund’s main responsibilities include managing listed infrastructure portfolios on behalf of institutional and wholesale clients and research coverage of the Towers and Utilities sectors. Edmund has more than 15 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the Global Listed Infrastructure team, Edmund worked with the Asia-Pacific/Global Emerging Markets team and with the Global Fixed Interest and Credit teams. He started his financial services career as an Actuarial Analyst at Aviva Australia. Edmund holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and is a CFA charterholder.

Rebecca Sherlock
Portfolio Manager

Rebecca’s main responsibilities include managing infrastructure securities on behalf of institutional and wholesale clients, and research coverage of the Renewables and Water sectors. Rebecca has more than 20 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the company in April 2008 Rebecca worked for Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services team in Australia. Rebecca has also worked at Grant Thornton (UK). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (First Class) from Sheffield University and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Trent Koch
Portfolio Manager

Trent’s main responsibilities include managing infrastructure securities on behalf of institutional and wholesale clients. Trent has more than 20 years' buy and sell side infrastructure experience, having previously managed infrastructure investments in both the listed and direct space. Prior to joining the company, Trent was Portfolio Manager for the Challenger Infrastructure Fund, an Australian publicly listed fund that invested in globally diversified unlisted infrastructure assets. Trent has also held roles at the company in London as a global equities analyst, JP Morgan Cazenove and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Trent holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, is a Chartered Accountant, and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.

Jessica Jouning
Senior Investment Analyst

Jessica’s main responsibilities include research coverage of the Railroads and Waste sectors, involving meetings with management, producing detailed financial models, qualitative reviews, and the presentation of infrastructure stock ideas to the team. Jessica has more than 10 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the Global Listed Infrastructure team, Jessica worked in the Unlisted Infrastructure team, the Global Resources team and the Global Fixed Interest and Credit team in Australia. She also spent six months in the Global Equities team based in London. Jessica has also completed an internship at Macquarie Risk Management Group. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Queensland.

Pablo Kohen
Senior Investment Analyst

Pablo’s main responsibilities include research coverage of the Energy Pipelines and Utilities sectors, involving meetings with management teams, producing detailed financial models, qualitative reviews, and the presentation of investment ideas to the team. Pablo has more than 20 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the company in March 2013, Pablo was an Associate Director at Access Capital Advisers, where he was the lead asset manager for several invested companies. Pablo led or participated in several acquisitions and debt refinancing projects relating to unlisted infrastructure assets. He was also a Board director at two invested companies based in Chile and Mexico and a member of the Investment Advisory Board of the Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund. Pablo previously worked for Credit Suisse (Australia) and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Pablo holds a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master Degree in (Corporate) Finance from the University of CEMA.

William Thackray
Analyst

William is responsible for research coverage of the Toll Roads and Airports sectors, involving meetings with management, producing detailed financial models, qualitative reviews, and the presentation of stock ideas to the team. William joined First Sentier Investors in April 2021. Prior to joining First Sentier Investors, William was a Senior Associate at investment manager Dimensional Fund Advisors. His role involved working with internal research teams, portfolio management and trading in order to deliver in-depth market analysis and systematic investment solutions to existing and prospective institutional clients. Prior to Dimensional Fund Advisors, William worked for Perpetual as an Undergraduate Accountant. William holds a holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Accounting) from the University of Sydney.

Sophie Smith
Analyst

Sophie is responsible for research coverage of the Passenger Rail and Utilities sectors, involving meetings with management, producing detailed financial models, qualitative reviews, and the presentation of stock ideas to the team. Sophie initially joined First Sentier Investors in April 2021. Prior to joining First Sentier Investors, Sophie worked as an Analyst in the Audit and Assurance team at Deloitte, a leading global provider of audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory and tax services. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Accounting) from Macquarie University.

George Thornely
Investment Manager

George’s main responsibilities are to act as the first point of contact for the Global Listed Infrastructure investment team on matters associated with client service, communications, risk & compliance, operations and product. George has more than 15 years’ experience in funds management. Prior to joining the company in August 2012, George’s roles included Senior Settlement Specialist at Merrill Lynch in Dublin, Ireland and Broker Liaison Executive at Invesco Perpetual in Henley-on-Thames, UK. George holds a B.A. (Hons) in History from Lancaster University.
