These figures refer to the past. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. For investors based in countries with currencies other than the share class currency, the return may increase or decrease as a result of currency fluctuations. Performance figures have been calculated since the launch date. Performance data is calculated on a net basis by deducting fees incurred at fund level (e.g. the management and administration fee) and other costs charged to the fund (e.g. transaction and custody costs), save that it does not take account of initial charges or switching fees (if any). Income reinvested is included on a net of tax basis. Source: Lipper IM / First State Investments (UK) Limited.

Share prices are calculated on a forward pricing basis which means that the price at which you buy or sell will be calculated at the next valuation point after the transaction is placed. Where a fund price is marked XD, this means that the fund is currently Ex-Dividend. Past performance is not necessarily a guide to future performance. The value of shares and income from them may go down as well as up and is not guaranteed. Please note that the yield quoted above is not the historic yield. It is considered that the yield quoted represents the current position of investments, income and expenses in the fund and that this is a more accurate figure. Investors may be subject to tax on their distribution. The yield is not guaranteed or representative of future yields. You should be aware that any currency movements could affect the value of your investment. The Funds within the First State Global Umbrella Fund (Irish VCC) are denominated in USD.
Benchmarks and IA sectors used for our OEIC funds
The benchmarks for our funds have been identified as a means by which investors can compare the funds’ performance and have been chosen because the relevant benchmark’s constituents most closely represent the scope of the relevant fund’s investable assets. The benchmarks are not used to limit or constrain how the funds’ portfolios are constructed, nor are they part of a target set for the funds’ performance. We also compare the performance of our funds against their Investment Association sector, except for funds in the Specialist IA sector given the diverse nature of that sector’s constituent funds.
